How Do I Add a Deduction Code to the W-2 Tax Form Definitions?

Hello!

We have added new health plans that will have deductions in December. When I try to add this deduction code to the W-2 tax form definitions, it is not available. My effective date is 12/01/2020. Does this code become available after the payroll confirmation process?
