Heads up on the SLEEPER G96 Production for Old versions of JDE WORLD
Recently, I submitted an SR on the SLEEPER application . The Application went into a JOB SUBMITTAL
Loop of over 350 K jobs before we stopped it. This can max out your JOB limit and up your storage.
The DD value of #CYR was the suspect. However, all the SLEEPER Jobs had a correct #CYR for the production Library list. Thanks to ORACLE support (David,Tammy) we finally checked the SLEEPER JOBD itself and found that the SLEEPER was Pointing to an OLD COMMON library from a previous 8.1 version.
#CYR was 20 instead of 40 causing the APPLICATION to loop. If you have migrated from an OLD VERSION of WORLD Vision to a new one, please check your SLEEPER JOBD. Here's the solution that worked when tested:
