Oracle Advanced Benefits - Periods

At what all levels (Program/Plan/Option etc) periods needs to be defined during benefits setup?

As I checked, the periods definition is present at Program and Plan level in Benefits. Is there any other setup that we need to perform if the defined periods are exhausted and we need to add more Periods in Oracle EBS for Benefits.
