ADOP CUTOVER taking long time because of materialized view

in Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC) Question

Product Name: Oracle E-Business Suite

Version: 12.2.7

ADOP CUTOVER taking long time to complete because of materialized view build is blocking ADOP

We have killed that blocking DB session and completed CUTOVER

However, what is the correct approach, like is there option to skip materialized view build or pause MV refresh/build, etc...

Please advise, thank you in advance
