A new IE tab after applying ATG_PF.C.8

We applied ATG_PF.C.8 and when we launch the Oracle forms, a IE window opens, java spins and another IE window opens and the forms launch. After the forms launch, we now have 3 IE tabs. One is the home page, one tab has the url on it and an Oracle logo, and the third one is the one historically opened with the forms.

Is there any way to suppress the window with the Oracle logo on it?

I have tested and I can close it and still navigate in the open forms. If I launch a forms window from the Home page, it re-opens the java tab with the URL on it.
