Unable to create item instances in R12 using API

Hi All,


We are upgrading from 11.5.10 to 12.2.9. We're trying to load item instances of 11i by using the Install Base API CSI_ITEM_INSTANCE_PUB.CREATE_ITEM_INSTANCE. Running into the following error for few instances:

'Owner account for external parties is mandatory. Please provide a valid Account for the Owner Party '

CSI_ITEM_INSTANCES, CSI_I_PARTIES have the item instance data but no records in CSI_IP_ACCOUNTS for these instance_ids.


Is there a way to circumvent this? Or any other API to create these item instances in R12?

Please advise.
