Is it normal to have high I/O 'Read by other session' wait after Database is switchover

Hi,

I wish to validate if the database will behave with high I/O 'read by other session' wait event after a database switchover from (Dataguard). I understand this is logical as the new Instance doesnt have the buffers in the SGA and hence retrieve them from Storage. i wish to validate this thoughts.

if this is correct, is it usually the query that needs to be tuned up, assuming that the datafiles are distribute across storage LUNs.

hope to hear. ThankS!
