Component Interface (CI) Accounting date error

When trying to use a component interface for CI_DEPR_ACCUM_ADJ we load an accounting date of 9/24/2020, which is the open period for Asset Management in our test environment, we we submit the data we get an error stating

1 - The Accounting Date, 2015-12-31, is not open. The open period for 2000 is from 2020-08-28 to 2020-09-24. (9000,302)

I don't know why the CI is saying we are entering the date 12/31/2015, we are not.
