Is there a document showing the Java requirements for using CM14?

My corporation is still using CM14. I believe the latest Java compatible is Java 1.7 update 55 but my security team requires official documentation proving the latest java versions are not compatible. I've looked on the software depot and on the Oracle support side, but haven't located a document. Would appreciate any assistance
