JDE 1 Configurator

We have a request from business to see how E1 Configurator data be promoted from one environment to another. Please note Configurator tables are in Business Data and Control Tables. The user would like to develop configurators in one environment and then expect some kind of promotion.

The challenge is PD data (item master, branch plants, etc) changes daily with new items, changes, etc. As item data are in related configurator tables I am not sure if there is a good way to accomplish this. Has anyone had such a request and how it was accomplished?
