E910 - F0401 AVCH field

Hello

We run a once-daily custom supplier master interface UBE which populates standard Z tables from custom staging tables and then calls the standard Z-processors to populate the standard tables. The process works without any issues and suppliers are created and/or changed in E1 with this process.

However, we are noticing an anomaly with F0401.AVCH field. Our custom staging table is populated with AVCH = Blank, when our custom interface runs it maps staging AVCH to F0401Z1.AVCH with Blank. Then the Z-processor runs and it populates F0401.AVCH with Blank. The field has a DD item default value of N and the attached standard UDC 40|ER has N but no Blank. But this field is often populated with a Blank which I cannot imagine is possible given the DD item default.
