Process for moving LPNs between branches when using ST/OT orders

We are moving product from the Mfg. warehouse to a centralized DC and need to retain the LPN that was assigned to the pallet. Everything going to the DC is on a pallet containing only 1 item. we are not using the transportation module but both the DC & Mfg. warehouse are using WMS.

The problem is that once the pick confirmation takes place the LPN is removed and we have loose quantity.

I am curious as to how other companies are managing this scenario. We are running version 9.2 and also DSI.
