Gather Schema Statistics Completing With Errors

Hi All -

Not sure if this is the precise board for this discussion (I saw there was a space for Utilities). Please let me know if I should move it ...

We are having an issue with gather schema statistics. It completes, but with an error. I'm not sure if it has always been this way, or not, or when exactly it began. We have upgraded to 12.2.9 (from 12.2.5) during the 4th quarter of last year. Plus, we have recently changed a parameter to use "auto" (from fixed/10% previously) on this job.

That said, here is the error we see in the logs:
