Quick Post and Payment Table

Our user is trying to cancel a payment plan and we're getting an error that business unit and payment id # don't exist on the quick_post table. I verified that the payment id is in the payment table but not in the quick post table. Has anyone seen this before where the payment id doesn't get written to the quick post table?
