RTF template functions in BI Publisher

Hi,

I am new to BI Publisher. Can some one help me in creating functions to create IF conditions, Passing parameters to RTF template with examples. I have checked in google but not getting properly. So please explain with steps. Also there is requirement to have signature in RTF. Please let me know how to implement this too and any other important functions that we use normally.
