Pros & Cons for Upgrading existing 12.1 Quoting application VS customizing 12.2 Quoting

in Sales, Marketing, and Territories Apps - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi All,


We are doing a risk analysis /comparing the pros/cons .

We are on 12.1.3 and use Quoting HTML pages. These are heavily customized. We need to upgrade these to 12.2.

Customization was developed in 2013 and continued till last year.

What are the advantages of migrating 12.1.3 Quoting HTML pages to 12.2 or is it advisable to take the seeded Quoting HTML pages in 12.2 and customize it ?
