Problem

Users need to process data belonging to other companies but watchlists need to display totals specific to their company only.

Background

Single instance of E1, currently live with 4 companies, 3 physical warehouses, but continuously expanding:

Co. / Whse Branch/Plant

00110 / 110W01

00160 / 160W01

00170 / - (always supplied from 110W01)

00200 / 200W01

The following transactions are used extensively:

a)     Inter-company sales orders. Orders entered in company 00170 are always picked packed and shipped from warehouse 110W01 i.e. the header branch is 170W01 and the detail branch always 110W01.

b)     Inter-company transfer orders (S2/O2). Companies 00110, 00160 and 00200 trade with each other. Shipment of an S2 auto receipts the O2 with the quantity going into receipt routing.

Howdy, Stranger!
