Can you raise a return on an internal sales order

Hi all

i have been asked by my customer if we can raise a return against an internal sales order. All Oracle documentation i have read is suggesting no.

is this correct or is there a way to raise a return against an ISO.

i am implementing internal sales orders with expense destination, so inter-org transfer / reverse IR wont work
