Is it possible to convert a group of exadata Storage Cell servers from HC to XT

Hello,

We are currently looking at different scenarios for one of our exadata systems.

We are contemplating getting an additional 4 X8-2 nodes and 3 storage cells.

Our current 3 storage cells end of life is in 2.5 years and we were wondering if it would be possible to keep using them as XT storage instead of HC storage.

This would avoid us having to buy HC licenses for the 3 new storage cells since the type of data we would store on the old cells wouldn't require smart scan.
