Upgrading Control Domain and its LDOM from Solaris 11.3 SRU36 to 11.4 SRU29

We plan to upgrade our systems from 11.3 to 11.4. Could anyone confirm what/how is the steps to perform and is below sequence of upgrade correct?


  1. Control Domain - Setup and install 11.4 GA repo and 11.4 SRU29 in another new repository
  2. Shutdown All ldom on Control domain
  3. Upgrade the Control Domain to 11.4 and reboot
  4. Bring up each ldom (our Control domain is hosting 3 ldoms) and upgrade each ldom to 11.4.
