Overlapping of data problem in templet having dual column

Hello everyone,

I am building a report which is student's transcript. We already have that report which was built in Oracle reports builder. Now we need to build the same in Oracle BI publisher. We are not going with conversion because it's complex and required more efforts then new development.

Lets say we have one word document which has two columns (MS word menu > Layout > Columns > Two columns). the top portion is student's basic information and bellow that the page will be divided into two columns. Once the data is filled up in first column of the page the repeating group will move to next column of the page. it's working as expected but the next column is starting at the top of the page while overlapping basic information of the student which is not at all required.
