In Unifier 19.12.12 how do we create a sub-shell?

We upgraded to Unifier 19.12.12 recently. Prior to the upgrade we could make a project a sub-shell of another project. We simply selected the project in location and the relationship was established. Now when I attempt this I receive the message that "Current Shell cannot be a sub-shell of the selected shell"
