High Streams AQ read in IoStat of AWR

We have a long running multi-threaded batch that processes a high volumes of data in a 3-node RAC. This batch is currently IO bound and we need to contain IOPS to get better throughput.

In IOStat section of AWR report, we see that more than 90% of the data read happens against Streams AQ, Streams AQ (Control File) and Streams AQ (Log File).

I am thinking these reads are coming from Data Guard and Goldengate's Capture process. Is that correct? Are they the only reasons?
