When does Socket Error occur while running DomainDaemon

in Retail Predictive Application Server (MOSC)

Hi,

We have seen that DomainDaemon failed with the below error while during the stop, while trying to stop domain daemon on a port does it also try to connect to the socket?

Though restart of the job (DomainDaemon) executed successfully but would like to know that in which scenario this error occur is it problem with the unix box or related to the application.
