HFM 11.2.3 Ignores grey numbers in consolidation

We are currently migrating from HFM 11.1.2.3.700 to 11.2.3. When reconciling the data I noticed I had differences even though the application was copied from 11.1.2.3.700 via a staging environment to 11.2.3. It seems that the derived 'grey numbers' are being ignored when consolidated, hence causing me to see differences.

I have checked that the original, staging and new metadata settings for the default view and default frequency in the scenarios settings are the same plus:

ZeroViewForNonAdj = YTD

ZeroViewForAdj = YTD

Has anyone else seen this and can shed light on what's wrong?
