Is anyone using EITs to collate overtime data for payroll processing?

Oracle EBS 12.1.3 RUP12 (soon to be RUP13)

I'm looking for an alternative to employee payments or individual compensation distributions to collect overtime data via ESS. The existing functionality is okay but limited in terms of the information displayed for historical claims which can result in duplicate claims.

We're not licensed for OTL so I'm interested to know how I can pick up the data from the EIT, populate an element and process it in a pay run.

Any guidance on this would be much appreciated.
