ARXRJR: Receipt Journal Report fills up TEMP tablespace

EBS 12.1.3 running 12.1.0.2 database on-prem with Red Hat Linux 7 - separate db and app tier (non-rac).

I recently went through the steps to upgrade an instance to the 19c database where it was then discovered that the AR "Receipt Journal Report" was failing so we delayed the upgrade until further investigation into what the 19c database upgrade might have introduced. No progress on that front so far but by expanding where we test this report I now have it also failing in a cloned environment where we did not do the upgrade and yet it works in Prod (obviously) and another cloned instance. So just wondering if anybody that knows enough about this report
