"User not found" error on Central office UI

Product name- Oracle Retail Central Office 

Version- 12.0.9

Problem- after logging in to oracle retail CO application, i am getting user not found error on screen even though my user has been added to required groups. it is happening with a particular instance, not with all.

I don't think i can share screenshots of my company related login screens which cause confidentiality problem i think but i hope you understood the problem based on the above statement.
