Paying employees days after the payroll execution is completed

Hello everybody,

I have the following case:

The actual payment of the employees’ salaries needs to be done (due to the company’s cash flow requirements) in a later date and partially (for example after 2 weeks), after having executed the payroll and not at the time the payroll execution as it is done now.

For this need, Is there a way of transferring the liability of employees’ payroll payment to the Accounts Payable and then this liability being paid whenever we want? Just dropping an idea.
