How can we prevent it from updating F1207 when a PM is being cancelled?

We are on release 9.2.4.1 of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. When a preventive maintenance work order is cancelled, it updates the Miles, Hours and Date with current values, as if the PM were completed normally. It should not update the Miles, hours, and the date with current values when a PM is being cancelled.
