change the 'distributed_lock_timeout' parameter in RAC environment

We need to change the 'distributed_lock_timeout' parameter in RAC environment

so please help on below points.

1) Can we change this parameter in rolling fashion like one node by node to avoid downtime?

2) need to stop the log apply ot log transfer from primary to standby?

3) Just before change this parameter Patching activity is scheduled for the same DB (Q3 2020 patch), so is there any impact on thic parameter change.
