Errors in Data Pump import in 12cR1 after applying patch Patch 31720769 (October 2020 PSU)

In mid-December my team applied patch 31720769 to our Oracle RDBMS 12cR1 (Enterprise) databases (we should be upgrading to 19c later this year).

Several times since we have seen the following errors when doing schema imports using Data Pump. This has occurred using both the impdp tool as well as when Data Pump is invoked using PL/SQL procedures; with the target database being both RAC and non-RAC; and when trying different degrees of parallelism. To the best of my knowledge we have *not* seen this error in 12cR2 or 19c databases since December.

So far this has not actually caused any data loss or operational issues that we are aware of (and for this reason have not filed a technical SR), but it is always disquieting to see errors on an import log that can't be explained, and just wanted to see if others have encountered it.
