Installing Hyperion 11.1.2.4.0 on Windows Server 2012 with SQL Server 2008

Hello,

we were in the process of installing 11.1.2.4.0 on Windows Server 2012 with SQL Server 2012. But due to a company change, we are required to use SQL Server 2008 instead but want to continue with 11.1.2.4.0.

Although supported but not common, wanted some feedback on whether it's OK to install on a distributed environment version 11.1.2.4.0 on Windows Server 2012 but have SQL Server 2008 (on a Window Server 2012).
