Tracking Gender Identity

I need to start tracking gender identity within PeopleSoft personal data. I tried finding the ability on Oracle Support and can't find a reference other than one from Nov 2020, that it is being looked at. Has anyone done this functionality within HCM personal data? Is it available in PeopleSoft HCM? If so which PUM is it in, or do you know when the functionality will be delivered.
