EPPM User Baselines P6 Pro User Baselines - Can Web Services set both?

It is my understanding that EPPM and P6 Pro each have their own User Baselines for each user. It appears that Web Services API only changes the EPPM User Baselines.

Does anyone know:

  1. If the Professional stores the pointer to the baseline in the database or in some desktop file? If it is in the database we may be able to change it directly without API.
  2. If the API can be used to update the P6 Professional fields?
