Clone Fluid Position -Classic Position data are not getting added for cloned position.

Product: Peoplesoft HCM 9.2

We are using Fluid position management, when we 'clone' existing positions, some are getting cloned successfully with new data in fluid as well as in classic position tables. But for some reason, when we clone a few positions, it creates the new position in fluid table and not in classic position data table.

What could be the reasons for not creating the corresponding position in classic position data tables? Any suggestions to solve this issue?

I've compared the positions that were successfully created in classic vs the unsuccessful ones, couldn't find anything out of it.

Not seeing any exceptions at 'CI Exceptions' as well.
