How to prevent bankruptcy from making Net Pay as 0
We are in R12.13 and this is for US legislation.
Our payroll team raised an issue saying for an employee having Bankruptcy and mentioned that involuntary deductions should not allow for a net zero check to process. So if there is not sufficient earnings to deduct the full Bankruptcy amount, it should not deduct at all.
Is this driven by some settings at the time of element creation? I found that in Wage Attachment that there is no exemption - is the bankruptcy deduction driven by this?
Or is it that each Involuntary Deduction has its own rules and for Bankruptcy there is no such rule which should prevent a net zero pay.
