RHEL upgrade from RHEL6 to RHEL7 for Oracle RAC nodes

Hi,

We are upgrading existing Oracle RAC nodes which are currently on RHEL6 and upgrading to RHEL7.

I am following this note -How to Manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure During Operating System Upgrades (Doc ID 1559762.1)

The note states to remove the node (to be upgraded to RHEL7) from RAC cluster and then upgrade the OS.

After the OS is upgraded to RHEL7, the note says to add the upgraded node back to RAC cluster.

We are getting stuck here as it fails for the validating step before adding the node:

cluvfy stage -pre nodeadd -n <node to be added>

Verifying Multicast check ...FAILED
