ODI Studio Client Install 12c - object tree mssing

ODI studio client was installed on my laptop by an administrator. (I don't have admin privileges on my laptop). I connect to a repository but my object tree view is missing from the windows (Designer, Operator, Topology, Security). I can see the objects using the "Find ODI Object" but when I try to open the object from the "Find ODI Object" window I get a error "Java.lang. NullPointerException"

Any ideas on how to get my object tree views back?
