ParallelGC JVM Parameters for Oacore

We have a pretty large EBS instance and frequently run into oacore related issues and users unable to login. I checked one of the tuning articles on using ParallelGC parameters:

-XX:+UseParallelGC -XX:ParallelGCThreads=2

I did not see these configured on the oacore servers and wanted to check what will be the default to start with should I start from the above values and go from there?
