bart create redirected to tmp in immutable (non-global zone) only partially completes
Hello,
Using Oracle Solaris 11.3 0.175.3.36.0.23.0 in a non-global zone (NGZ) while logged in from the the global zone (GZ) as root but not Trusted Path only produces the following lines:
! Version 1.1
! Hash SHA256
! Friday, February xx, 2021 (xx:xx:00)
# Format:
#fname D size mode acl dirmtime uid gid
#fname P size mode acl mtime uid gid
#fname S size mode acl mtime uid gid
#fname F size mode acl mtime uid gid contents
#fname L size mode acl lnmtime uid gid dest
#fname B size mode acl mtime uid gid devnode
#fname C size mode acl mtime uid gid devnode
The NGZ is strictly immutable with logs redirecting to the GZ but no error messages are generated pertaining to this outcome. This behavior has also been observed when attempting to write a manifest to a r/w dataset provided by the GZ with the additional and curious feature that all files in the dataset become unreadable (permission denied) but the file system remains writable.
