How to create YTD Rolling period across different years and scenarios in Financial Reporting

Hi,

i have designed the report dynamic monthly rolling period across different years by using the below document given by the oracle community and able to achieve the requirement, but i also need YTD Rolling period that crosses the years and scenarios to achieve this i used prompt for time being but the user is not satisfied with changing YTD every time he needs to change the period, can you pleas share me some inputs and documents that would help me to achieve this requirement
