Release Backorder Qty

Hi,

Release backorder report R42118 is used to release the order after quantity is available and it will not allow to release the quantity more than on hand stock. But in application P42117 it is allowing to release the quantity if on hand stock is not there.

Eg. Item A is having on hand stock 300

order 1 for item A is 250 and order 2 for item A is 300

Using P42117 I can move both the order till 545.

But if I use the report then order 1 will be move to 545 but from 2 order it will split the line and move only qty 50 to 545 and rest will be at 540 only.
