Hi,

We have been facing a problem during environment refreshes where we move the NFS contents of one environments using rsync to another environment and then amend the database details for JPS and datasources via WLST with domain being offline. We also move the database copy using RMAN, in tandem.

The PSU in subject has prompted us to rollback patch 27248932 and re-introduced the problem we were having where by trying to update the domain offline via WLST updateDomain() with RMAN restored database being open and reachable, we would get an exception:

64254: Error occurred in "OWSM Processing" phase execution

64254: Encountered error: oracle.mds.exception.MDSRuntimeException: MDS-00003: error connecting to the database
