Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Upgrade rman catalog from 12.2 .0.1 to 19c

Hi ,

We have 12.2.0.1 databases backup by using rman catalog (12.2.0.1 also).

We have upgraded one database to 19c.

Unable to use rman to backup this 19c DB.

Should catalog be upgraded to 19c ?

If yes , what about Backup 12c DB ? Continue to work ?
