OSB 12c - Sending an attachment using UMS

Can someone provide a solid example on how to use the UMS Adapter to send a PDF attachment. I need to retrieve pdf files stored in our database as BLOBs and send each one of them in a seperate email as a pdf attachment. I also need to specify the name of the attachment name which is also stored in the database.
