ABSENCE MANAGEMENT ADMIN ACTIVITIES ON SELF SERVICE REQUESTS
Greetings Absence Community:
Jill here. A new round of SRs coming into the Absence support team reports issues with 'orphaned' (already approved) events sitting in the Managers' pending approvals.
Users note that the request was:
- Entered via Employee Self Service
- Approved by Admin via "Absence Event" (Global Payroll and Absence Management>Payee Data>Maintain Absences>Absence Event).
Using the Absence Event page halts the AWE process and workflow status is not updated on the Managers' events. If the Manager attempts to approve the event, they will get an error stating it has already been approved and will remain in pending approvals, ad infinitum.
