Third party software in Exadata

in Exadata General (MOSC) 3 comments

IHAC asking if it's possible to install NAGIOS, NetBackup and some other agents in Exadata.

I've read that it's possible but the Linux upgrade/update process will remove the agents and Cust must re-install it. Is that point true? Is it possible to find an official statement talking about this to be shared with Cust?

Exadata X8M-2 with Linux 4.14.35-1902.303.5.3.el7uek.x86_64
