Base Benefits recommended Life Insurance set up
The State of TN is trying to make some life insurance changes, therefore, our configuration and setup will change. I have a list of requirements attached.
I am seeking advice and guidance for a delivered way to set up life insurance and the three basic areas we are having trouble deciding what to do with are: 1) Salary and age as of 9/1 of the year, 2) fixed employer rate, and 3) adjustable employee rate based on 1.5 of base salary as of 9/1 of the year (not per paycheck).
Part of our goal is to avoid creating new compensation bands or to create new plan types. However, with the flat, fixed employer rate we are not sure which direction to go with the setup
