Availability Notification button - for W2c

Hello,

We have used the 'Availability Notification' feature for W2 but not for W2c, and was curious on how its intended to work.

Unlike W2's, we process W2c's one offs as we receive the request from the employees.

Can the availability notification button be clicked each time a W2c is processed?

Will it send duplicate emails to employees who were processed in an earlier batch with the current batch?
